You will visit: HCMC - Ha Noi - Sapa - Dien Bien Phu - Ha Long Bay - Phong Nha - Hue - Hoi An - Buon Me Thuot - Da Lat - Cat Tien - Cu Chi - Mekong Delta

Highlights:

HCMC previously known as Saigon, is a city full of contrasts as street vendors selling fruit and vegetables can be seen next to modern businesses and boutiques. In 1859 the city was captured by the French and from 1956 until its demise in April 1975, it was the capital of the Republic of Vietnam.

Renamed Ho Chi Minh City at the end of the American War, HCMC is very much the heart of Vietnamese business. However, the city still retains its connections to the past, particularly in Cholon, Saigon’s Chinatown and in the architecture of many of the buildings such as the Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office.

In Hanoi you will get to explore the exciting and vibrant city on a tour that will take you to a wide range of attractions in and around the old quarter of the city. You will visit the Ho Chi Minh complex, Hoan Kiem Lake and the museum of Literature which is the site of Vietnam’s first university and dates back to 1070 and many others. You will also get to cruise through the shopping streets of the old quarter riding in a cyclo which is a traditional cycle taxi. Lunch will be served at one of Hanoi’s many local restaurants.

Experience the magnificent views and the mountain landscapes of the beautiful Sapa Valley. You will have the opportunity to visit the village of the Black H’mong tribes and Trek through terraced rice paddies and minority villages along the Muong Hoa River. Receive and enjoy warm hospitality as you stay overnight in home stay accommodation before setting off to discover more of the area in the morning.

Enjoy the breath taking scenery and waters of the world heritage listed Ha Long Bay traveling on board a luxury Junk. The bay features 1,960 – 2,000 islets and covers a total area of 1,550 Sq Kms.

You will visit a number of the larger caverns where you will be in wonder of the very beautiful formations of Stalactites and Stalagmites, created over the centuries and have the opportunity to go Kayaking on the calm waters of the bay.

The Mekong Delta is often referred to as the rice bowl of Vietnam as it produces three harvests per year. The fertile Mekong Delta is also famous for its tropical fruits and flowers. The Delta area marks the end of the Mekong Rivers 4,500km journey made through six countries to reach the ocean. Traditional transportation in the Delta is by boat along a vast network of canals and channels.

Hoi An was a major Oriental and international trading port and merchant meeting place for the traders and ships of Japan, China and the west during the 16th and 17th centuries. As a result, the old town in Hoi An has a diverse mixture of architectural styles and today is considered a living museum of architecture and urban lifestyle. Hoi An, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1999, is also the home of two beautiful beaches where you can relax & unwind from your busy life.

In 1990 a British expedition explored 35km of the cave and made the first reliable map of the underground (and underwater) passageways. They discovered that the main cavern is nearly 8km long, with 14 other caves nearby.

Natural forest covers the majority of the national park and the most widespread forest type is limestone forest but there are also significant areas of lowland evergreen forest. The reserve is largely covered in tropical forest with a high level of biodiversity and endemic species.
